A three-day training programme for Pashu Sakhis was successfully conducted from 16–18 June 2026 at The Hotel Bodhgaya School, Bodhgaya, under the Livelihood Programme. The training was facilitated by Mr. Rajat Singh, Senior Training Manager, Goat Trust, Lucknow, and attended by seven newly selected Pashu Sakhis along with six Agragami Livelihood Programme staff members.
The programme focused on building participants’ knowledge and practical skills in goat rearing and livestock management. Sessions covered the roles and responsibilities of Pashu Sakhis, goat housing, health care, feeding practices, and hands-on demonstrations on the preparation of creep feed, neem oil, and milk replacer.
The training enhanced the capacity of participants to provide improved technical support and advisory services to goat-rearing households in their communities. During the valedictory session, Mr. Tripurari Singh, Project Coordinator, expressed his appreciation to the trainer for his valuable guidance and contribution to the programme’s success.
