As an ongoing activity during the week, a three-day Adolescent Reproductive and Sexual Health (ARSH) training programme was organized for adolescent girls aged 15–19 years in the villages of Narkatia, Sevabigha, and Basadhi under the Tarrakki Project. The programme was attended by 67 adolescent girls and aimed to enhance their knowledge, awareness, and understanding of adolescent health, nutrition, reproductive health, and overall well-being.
The training included interactive and participatory sessions on key topics such as physical and emotional changes during adolescence, the importance of balanced nutrition, reproductive anatomy, anemia and its prevention, menstrual health and hygiene management, conception and pregnancy, and other essential aspects of adolescent reproductive and sexual health. Through group discussions, practical exercises, and experience-sharing activities, participants actively engaged in the learning process, helping them build confidence and make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
