Working Together for the Well-being of Migrant and Low-Income Families

On 15 September 2025, under the Uday Project supported by HCLFoundation, the Agragami India team conducted an orientation session with ASHAs at our newly selected location, Jalpura. The session was organized with the support of Dr. Sakshi, MOIC of Jalpura, and Mr. Virender Kumar, WHO Field Coordinator. A total of 15 ASHAs participated from the following areas:

  • Jalpura – 3
  • Kuleshra – 6
  • Haldoni – 5
  • Sutiyana – 1

During the program, the Agragami India team oriented the participants about the HCL Foundation’s thematic programs, as well as the work of Agragami India and its interventions in Jalpura. The team also shared relevant data, including a list of pregnant women and children aged 0 to 6 years for vaccination.

The session highlighted how joint efforts between ASHAs, WHO, the Noida Health System, and Agragami India can create a positive impact on the lives of migrants and low-income communities in Jalpura.

Dr. Sakshi and Mr. Virender, along with the ASHAs, appreciated the efforts of the Agragami team and encouraged the ASHAs to work closely with the team to bridge existing gaps and achieve better results.
