Longjam Lupeshor Singh

Program Director

Longjam Lupeshor Singh holds a  master’s degree in Social Work, and dual post-graduate diplomas in Computer Science and Business Management. He has over 23 years of experience in development and administration spanning the government, NGO and corporate sectors.  His work in the development sector includes public health, sexual and reproductive health, information technology, education, and livelihoods.

His involvement in projects funded by the Global Fund, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation,  European Commission and corporates, encompassed extensive work with marginalised communities including intravenous drug users, female sex workers, orphaned children, and widows.

Sanjay Kumar Mandal

Manager, Administration & Budgets

Sanjay Kumar Mandal is amongst Agragami India’s first staff members and has played a key role in establishing and expanding Agragami India’s work in Bihar.  He has over 20 years experience in facility management, procurement, personnel and salary administration, accounting, financial control, budgeting, audit and statutory compliance, system development and donor coordination.

He currently serves as Manager – Administration and Budget, supporting program development and providing financial oversight. He also leads the Bodhgaya Hotel School, a flagship skill development project that skills underprivileged youth for employment in India’s high growth hospitality industry.   

Sanjay has a bachelor’s degree in Commerce.

Ajendra Sirohi

STATE Program Manager, Delhi NCR

Ajendra Sirohi leads Agragami India’s projects and activities in the National Capital Region. Currently these include adolescent maternal and child health and family planning; early childhood development; and self-defence.

Beginning in condom social marketing, Ajendra Sirohi has spent two decades working in projects that integrated health, education, and livelihoods for underserved rural and urban communities, always in close collaboration with government systems and other development partners. An experienced trainer, he is interested and involved in promoting self-defence training for young women and in sports for the development of young people. 

Ajendra holds a master’s in Social Work.

Harish Chandra Pant

Project Manager, family well-being Project, NOIDA, Uttar Pradesh

Harish Pant has worked with Agragami India since its inception in 2002.  He has 27 years experience in community development programs, and his core expertise is in health communication, behavior change interventions, and reproductive health programming. He holds a master’s degree in Social Work.

Harish manages Agragami India’s Family Planning and Health for Family Well-being project in NOIDA. The project is focused on improving family well-being through smaller families, with healthy adolescents, mothers and children.  Harish Pant is Agragami’s key resource person for training in reproductive health, family planning, and on adolescent maternal and child health.

Manikant Bhushan

Program Manager, Tarrakki Project, Bodhgaya Block, GAYA District, Bihar

Manikant Bhushan has expertise in community based programs that improve adolescent maternal and child health, and family planning outcomes. His experience of 20 years includes program management, research and training. He has a special interest in preventing gender based violence, child protection, and fostering local ownership of project interventions.  He has dual master’s degrees in Geography and in Social Work, and a Certificate in Public Health.

Manikant leads Agragami India’s Tarrakki Project which seeks the wholistic development of adolescents through a combination of community based clubs and  training programs for adolescents.

Tripurari Singh

Program Coordinator, Livelihoods Project, Bodhgaya Block, Gaya District, Bihar

Tripurari Prasad Singh has worked for over 18 years, in 5 states, in varied areas of social development – education, child rights, health, watershed development, and livelihoods promotion.  Social mobilization and community participation are particular areas of expertise. He holds an M.A. in Sociology.

Currently, Tripurari serves as Project Coordinator of Agragami’s Livelihoods Project, that supports livelihood interventions such as kitchen gardening, pig rearing, and goat rearing.  Close liaison and coordination with government and NGO schemes and interventions ensure that project beneficiaries get the maximum by way of technical inputs and financial support from schemes.

Sunil Kumar

Program Manager, Creche initiative, Mohanpur Block, Gaya District, Bihar

Sunil Kumar holds a master’s in Rural Development Management and a Certificate in Public Health Practice. He has over 13 years of experience in the areas of RMNCH+A, SRHR, and ICDS convergence.  He has led multi-donor coordination, monitoring and evaluation, and has successfully scaled up innovative community based child-care and nutrition programs. He has extensive experience in strengthening community systems, program implementation, supervision, and improving maternal and child health outcomes.

He leads Agragami’s Creche Initiative which is a community-centric intervention that enhances early childhood care, nutrition and safety of vulnerable children.
