Training for Better Livelihoods: Knowledge, Confidence, and Care for Goat Health.
Mr. Tripurari Pd. Singh from Agragami India welcomed all the participants and provided an overview of the Livelihood Bodhgaya Project and the Pashu Sakhi model. Following this, Dr. Bacha Singh, a Government Veterinary Doctor, conducted the training session and also shared valuable insights from his professional experience.
Dr. Singh discussed common goat diseases and the types of medicines used for their treatment. The participants raised several questions related to goat diseases and treatment methods, and Dr. Singh responded by elaborating on the correct dosages and proper usage of medicines.
The Pashu Sakhis expressed their gratitude to the trainer and shared that programs like this enhance their knowledge and boost their confidence in goat health-care practices.
