Under the Khusalli Livelihood Project, Agragami India, Bodhgaya, organized a Goat Rearing Awareness Camp at the weekly markets of Lal Salam and Rainpuri on 9th July 2026 to promote scientific goat management practices, to reduce goat mortality and improve their income through better livestock management .
Approximately 225 goat rearers from Tankuppa and Bodhgaya blocks participated in the programme and received guidance on goat housing, hygiene, nutrition, deworming, disease prevention, and vaccination. Awareness materials were distributed, along with Liver Tonic, Neem Oil, Pachmola, and essential veterinary medicines. Awareness was generated through use of poster , banners and pamphlets to promote best practices in goat rearing. Mr. Tripurari Singh, Project Coordinator highlighted the importance of adopting improved goat-rearing practices to enhance livestock productivity and household income.
