Agragami India, with the support of HCLFoundation (the CSR arm of HCLTech), conducted a self-defence workshop for students of Katha, (an HCLFoundation education partner) under its STEM programme at SSVIC Vaidpura School, as part of the partner’s convergence model.
Approx 120 girls from classes 10 to 12 actively participated in the workshop. An Agragami-certified trainer conducted the sessions using simple explanations, demonstrations, role plays, interactive activities, and hands-on practice, enabling the participants to understand and confidently apply practical self-defence techniques.
Representatives from Katha, teachers, and students appreciated the engaging approach and the way this sensitive issue was presented in a simple, practical, and impactful manner. The workshop not only introduced essential self-protection techniques but also encouraged girls to build confidence, awareness, and a sense of personal safety.
