Empowering adolescents, strengthening communities through celebration of 24th foundation day
Agragami India Tarakki Project team celebrated its 24th Foundation Day at the project office in Silaunja, Bodhgaya. The event was jointly inaugurated by Mr. Sunil Nanda, Secretary; Mr. Longjum Luphesor, Program Director; Mr. Sanjay Kumar Mandal, Manager – Admn & Budget; Principal of Senior Secondary School, Bataspur; and the Coordinator of Bharat Scout & Guide.Adolescent club members presented a series of engaging cultural activities, including a nukkad natak (street play), speeches, dance performances, and group songs. Through these presentations, the adolescents delivered powerful messages promoting the completion of at least high school education, prevention of child marriage, and elimination of violence against girls and women.
A total of 140 participants attended the programme, including 109 girls, 17 boys, and 14 parents, making the celebration both meaningful and impactful for the community. The event reflected this year’s theme, “Growing Together — Learning, Leading & Inspiring,” emphasizing collective growth, youth leadership, and community engagement.
