As part of its ongoing community outreach and mobilisation efforts, the Tarrakki Project team conducted regular home visits to strengthen engagement with parents and community members. During June, all 11 Adolescent Community Facilitators (ACFs) visited 164 households across the 7 villages of Basadhi Panchayat, reaching families through door-to-door interactions.
During these visits, ACFs shared information about the project’s goals, development initiatives, including education, health, life skills, sports, and leadership opportunities. Parents were encouraged to actively support their children’s participation and contribute to creating a positive environment for their growth and development.
The home visits also provided an opportunity for parents to share their concerns, expectations, and suggestions regarding adolescent well-being. These interactions helped strengthen relationships between the project team and the community, fostering greater trust, awareness, and participation in project activities.
