We thank these professionals who generously contributed their time and energy to creating change in our communities across Bihar and Delhi NCR.

Mahe Besson
Graduates of the Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne, Switzerland, Mahe Besson and Chanelle Yoseffi volunteered at The Bodhgaya Hotel School (TBHS), a youth skill development program of Agragami India. In their 6 months at TBHS, Chanelle and Mahe worked to firm up the curriculum and to introduce faculty to participatory, student-centred teaching methods.

Elena Balzaretti
While pursuing a Masters degree in Socioeconomics at the University of Geneve, Switzerland, Elena volunteered in the Khushali Project at Madanpur Khader Delhi. During her 2 month volunteer period, she developed a marketing plan for home linen and other products produced by the women of Madanpur Khader. The women had been trained in Agragami’s skill development for livelihoods program.
Jean Rochat
Jean Rochat volunteered at TBHS from August 2018 to February 2019. He reviewed and updated TBHS’ standard operating procedures. TBHS staff will remember him for his consistent emphasis on responding immediately to the reviews written by guests on social media and online travel sites.


Augustin Poullaouec
Augustin graduated from Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne in 2024 and volunteered at The Bodhgaya Hotel School as part of the EHL Smile initiative. He supported the school’s administration in expanding its professional network across India’s leading hospitality institutions to secure stronger internship placements and improve the career prospects of both current and future students.
Noemi Barizzi
Noemi Barizzi is a Swiss national. She holds a Bachelor of Science in International Hospitality Management from the renowned École Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL). She volunteered at TBHS in 2024-2025 in the capacity of Project Coordinator for TBHS’ donor and partner – the International Foundation for Population and Development. In this role, she supported the TBHS team in organizing and coordinating master classes for students, mentored students, and prepared them for internship programs to enhance employment opportunities.
Students and staff will remember her for her cheery and encouraging presence at the school, her empathy and her constant concern for the well-being and success of students.


Martial Vout
Martial Vout, born in 1974, is a Swiss security advisor, bodyguard, and self-defence instructor with training in the US, France, and Switzerland. He has provided protection to CEOs, Middle Eastern dignitaries, and renowned actors across Europe. Alongside his professional assignments, he developed his own self-defence methodology, integrating full-contact techniques and combat shooting. An author and trainer, he conducts workshops that focus on empowering individuals to harness their inner strength. Since 2014, Martial has been visiting India regularly, leading self-defence workshops in Delhi/NCR to equip women and girls with the skills and confidence to ensure their personal safety.
