On 2 September 2026, Agragami India’s Tarrakki Club members supported the Government of Bihar’s “Anaemia Mukt Bihar – Vishesh Abhiyaan” organized by CHC Bodhgaya at the VHSND session site in Bataspur village, Basadhi Panchayat. At the request of the ANM and ASHA, the Tarrakki team—including the Program Manager, Field Coordinator, ACF and club members—supported the mobilization of adolescents and community members for essential health services. Following the Tarrakki Project’s Social Action approach, club members actively contacted and encouraged adolescents to attend the session, undergo anaemia screening and receive the recommended Td booster. They also supported the mobilization of pregnant women for Td vaccination and families to bring children for scheduled immunization. As a result, 21 adolescents were screened for anaemia, 13 adolescents and 8 pregnant women received Td booster doses, and 9 children received scheduled immunization. The activity strengthened collaboration between Tarrakki Clubs and frontline health workers while enabling adolescents to translate their learning into meaningful community action. The MOIC, CHC Bodhgaya, appreciated Agragami India’s team for its active support and efforts in mobilizing the community and promoting access to government health services.
