To strengthen coordination with the ICDS system and share progress on the completion of the first year of the Creche Initiative Project, the Agragami India team, led by the Program Manager and Capacity Building Manager, held a productive meeting with the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Mohanpur Block, on 13th August 2026.
The discussion covered the project’s progress, key activities, and areas requiring further coordination and government support. The CDPO appreciated the objectives and approach of the project and suggested improving the visibility of creche centres through clearly visible branding. She also advised that children identified with severe under nutrition should be appropriately referred to the Nutrition Rehabilitation Centre (NRC) for further care and support.
The team invited the CDPO to visit the creche centres to observe the activities and understand implementation at the field level. The meeting provided an important opportunity to strengthen collaboration with ICDS and identify practical areas for joint follow-up to improve services and support for children and families.
