The Creche Initiative Project has launched a Caregiver Recognition Initiative to appreciate and motivate caregivers for their dedication and commitment to quality childcare. The initiative aims to promote ownership, excellence, and continuous improvement across all creche centres.
Creche centres are assessed against six key indicators: Infrastructure, Safety & Security, Average Monthly Child Attendance, Child Retention, Daily Routine & Service Delivery, and Caregiver Behaviour.
As part of the first recognition, Mrs. Varsha Kumari and Mrs. Manti Kumari, caregivers at Charkediya Creche Centre, secured the top position among 40 creche centres, achieving an overall grading score of 88%. They were presented with a token of appreciation during the Caregiver Review Meeting held on 19 August 2026 at Baidhchak Centre. The assessment and recognition process will be conducted every three months throughout the project period, encouraging caregivers to consistently uphold quality standards and strive for excellence.
