On 14 August 2026, 86 members of Tarrakki Clubs under Agragami India’s Tarrakki Project organized a Social Action Project and awareness rally in Narkatiya village, Basadhi Panchayat of Bodhgaya Block. Through a tableau portraying Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Subhas Chandra Bose, Chandrashekhar Azad and Bharat Mata, adolescents connected the values of freedom, equality, unity and collective responsibility with community development. Moving through village streets, they raised awareness on cleanliness and sanitation, waste management, regular school attendance, gender equality, prevention of child marriage, and a safe and healthy community environment. The activity enabled adolescents to identify local issues, mobilize community members, communicate for behavioural change, and demonstrate leadership and teamwork. Parents, community members, social workers and Tarrakki Project staff participated and encouraged the initiative. Villagers appreciated the rally and assured their cooperation. The activity strengthened adolescents’ role as active citizens and positive change-makers in line with the core themes of the Tarrakki Project.
