On the occasion of World Breastfeeding Week, Agragami India, under the Uday Project supported by HCL Foundation, organized six breastfeeding awareness group discussions across Noida. A total of 159 participants attended the sessions, including 24 pregnant women and 135 mothers of children.The sessions were conducted in Agragami India’s intervention areas—Barola, Hoshiarpur, and Chijarsi Bahlolpur, Garhi Chaukhandi, and Kanavni.The sessions were facilitated by the Agragami India team and focused on:• Raising awareness about the benefits of breastfeeding.• Promoting early initiation of breastfeeding and exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months.• Improving mothers’ knowledge of correct breastfeeding techniques and practices.• Addressing common myths, misconceptions, and barriers related to breastfeeding.The interactive discussions provided participants with an opportunity to share their experiences, ask questions, and gain practical knowledge to support optimal breastfeeding practices. The sessions aimed to empower mothers and families with accurate information and encourage healthy breastfeeding practices for a healthier start to life for every child.
