Together with the veterinary department, government of bihar, agragami India is building healthier livestock, stronger livelihoods, and resilient communities.
Agragami India, through its Khushali Livelihood Project in Bodhgaya, is promoting awareness among livestock owners about government schemes and veterinary services offered by the Veterinary Department, Government of Bihar. As part of these efforts, the project supported the State’s Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) Vaccination drive began on 10 July 2026 by Bihar Veterinary Department and. The Agragami project team support Veterinary Department staff to interact with 106 livestock owners, and help to facilitated beneficiary registration, disseminated information on the importance of FMD vaccination, and coordinated closely with veterinary officials to ensure the smooth implementation of the campaign.
As of 24 July 2026, 352 cattle from five villages across Kanhaul and Moratal Panchayats had been successfully vaccinated. The campaign has strengthened livestock health, reduced the risk of disease outbreaks, and reinforced the livelihoods of rural farming families. The Veterinary Department appreciated Agragami India’s proactive support in the successful implementation of the campaign.
