A one-day training programme was conducted on 6 July 2026 at Agragami India Head Office, Bhagwanpur, for 7 Pashu Sakhis and 5 Community Mobilizers to strengthen community-based livestock support services. The session, led by Dr. Bacha Singh from the Government Veterinary Department, Gaya, focused on goat management, nutrition, disease prevention, treatment guidelines, and early identification of common health issues.
The training also emphasized linkages with government departments and veterinary service providers to improve access to livestock development schemes and veterinary care. An interactive role-play session facilitated by Mr. Tripurari Singh Prasad, Project Coordinator, reinforced practical learning on medication use and diagnosis before treatment. Participants actively engaged in the exercises, enhancing their confidence and skills in supporting goat-rearing households.
In recognition of their role as, Pashu Sakhi uniforms and medicine kits were distributed to support them in delivering their services and practices within their villages.
