As part of our ongoing Livelihood project, a Peste des Petits Ruminants (PPR) vaccination drive was successfully conducted during the month covering across 9 project villages reaching 562 goats to safeguard small ruminant health and strengthen household incomes.

PPR is a highly contagious viral disease affecting goats often leading to high mortality and severe economic loss for marginal and small farmers. Recognising the critical role of goat rearing in rural livelihoods.

The project continues to promote and motivate the community for regular vaccination, capacity building of Pashu Sakhis through community mobiliser to ensure sustainable livestock-based livelihoods.

By investing in animal health, we are investing in secure livelihoods, resilient communities, and rural prosperity.
