The Bodhgaya Hotel School’s food production students gain hands-on experience through live practical sessions focused on various cooking methods. These sessions help them develop essential culinary skills, build confidence in the kitchen, and understand professional techniques required in the hospitality industry. Through guided practice, they lay a strong foundation for successful careers in food production and hospitality.

The objective of The Bodhgaya Hotel School (TBHS) is to provide underprivileged youth in Bihar with quality training that ensures skill development, job readiness, and high employability in India’s rapidly growing hospitality sector. The school is supported by the EHLsmile Association and IFPD. EHLsmile is the alumni association of the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, one of the world’s leading hotel schools.

A unique institution, TBHS operates as a school attached to a twenty-room hotel that caters to both Indian and international guests. This one-of-its-kind setup not only provides students with a real-life learning environment but also generates revenue that helps cover a part of the school’s operational costs.
