Agragami India started the Rural Creche Initiative (RCI) in September 2025 with the support of the Azim Premji Foundation (APF) to improve the nutritional status and early childhood development of young children.
The project was launched in Mohanpur Block, Gaya, Bihar, covering 5 Gram Panchayats across 58 villages.
To establish and operationalize 40 creche centers, the project team began interaction with the community, village mapping and collecting basic family information to prepare a comprehensive list of eligible children.
